Kristina with a "K" please :)

Kristina con "K" — known by that name since childhood — has worked as a professional photographer for 15 years, based in Florida and, since 2017, in Puerto Rico. She founded KJP Studios in 2011, which has served as both her commercial practice and the vehicle through which she has developed a personal visual style: simple, clean, and raw, with a distinct emphasis on portraiture.
She holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in photography from the University of Central Florida. Raised by a filmmaker father and a social worker mother, her work reflects a lifelong balance between artistic expression and social commentary — a throughline that connects her earlier documentary and portrait work to Las Caras de mi Patria.
While in Orlando, Kristina collaborated extensively with makeup artists, fashion designers, and stylists to develop new approaches to photographing musicians, actors, and entertainment professionals, working with acts including ONE 31, Jonny Whiteside, Frank Rose, and Rebecca Joy. Since relocating to Puerto Rico, she has photographed artists such as Sie7eNueve, Chyno Nino, Andy Montañez, and Choco Orta.
Her commercial work has been published in Azul Magazine (Europe) and Modern Wife (Puerto Rico). In 2013, her photography was selected for the "RAW Natural Born Artist" national exhibition at LMNT Gallery in Miami, where she was named one of Orlando's five favorite new artists of the year.
She has been a member of Professional Photographers of America since 2012.
